Knowing When Your Pet Needs Urgent Care
Not every emergency is obvious. If you’re ever uncertain about your pet’s well-being, please feel free to call our knowledgeable staff for advice. We’ll be able to tell you what actions you need to take to get your pet the care they need.
Here are some signs that warrant immediate action:
- Experienced a traumatic injury (such as being hit by a car)
- Suspected broken bones
- Encounter with a wild animal
- Deep wounds
- Vomiting/diarrhea for more than 24 hours
- Blood in vomit, urine, or stool
- Bleeding from the eyes, ears, nose, or mouth
- Pressing head against a wall or other surface
- Disorientation
- Stumbling or difficulty getting up and down
- Seizures
