Denise Veterinary Nurse

Denise has a BS degree in Animal Science from the University of Delaware. She was a Vet Tech for 10 years before taking time away to raise her children. Now that she’s back she realizes how much she missed it.

Denise enjoys working at Companion because she says we are like one big goofy, happy family.  She knows that no matter how busy the day gets, we can laugh and be there to help each other out in any way we can.

Denise is owned by two dogs, Blaze, a German Shepherd/Husky mix and Riley, a White Swiss Shepherd. Both are registered therapy dogs. Denise enjoys visiting WakeMed Hospital, nursing homes and local college campuses with the dogs.  She spends most weekends at the beach.
