Meghan G. Reception

Meghan grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida in a family of animal-lovers with huge hearts. After moving to NC, she began working at dog daycare and boarding facility where she developed her knowledge of dog body language, health, and wellness, and became Pet First Aid and CPR certified.  After 7 years there, ending as General Manager, she found her new home at Companion Animal Hospital where she became Fear Free Certified and continues to evolve her education in pet care.

Meghan most enjoys getting to see all the different types and personalities of the cats and dogs that visit Companion Animal Hospital daily.  Even though the pets are the main focus, the wonderful customers as well as the amazing team, caring vets and management at Companion all play a huge role in making it a practice that she is proud to be a part of.

Meghan is the proud owner of Kya, a beautiful brindle American Staffordshire Terrier mix, Nala, a sweet and spicy cat and Roxie, a food connoisseur of a Pug. She loves spending time with her pets, teaching them new tricks and exploring various enrichment toys to make their days more exciting. Meghan also enjoys listening to dog training and true crime podcasts, exercising, shooting pool and spending time with her significant other.
